Hi all
My issue is as follows. ..
Myself and my husband are working in different companies in Muscat, both of us are not eligible for family visa. Even though my husband is eligible by the Salary basis, his management doesn't provide family status. Now iam pregnant, is it possible for me to continue here for my delivery. If so, how can get visa for my baby.
Also, my passport is not yet changed to my husband's address.

Kindly help me out.

HI resmiakhil,

A new born baby's visa will be issued only against the father's status.

If you are planning on having the baby here, then it is better to make sure your husband's employer is aware of the developments now itself.

Now I had a discussion with my father. .. He is running a business here... He is planning to get me an investor visa to his company. Will the problem still exist with baby's visa.... ?

Hi resmiakhil,

Visa is not the issue.

In any case you are here already on an employment visa.

As per the law of the land, only the father has the right to act as the legal guardian of his child / children.

In exceptional cases, the mother would be accorded that privilege. Not otherwise.
