Hey. We will be visiting Chaing Mai in November and would love to chat to ex-pats already living there to get a feel for what life is like there and maybe where to meet others when we are there.

We've been living in Chiang Mai for a couple of years now. Certainly don't mind sitting down for a chat while you are here. There is an expats' breakfast get-together every second Friday morning and a large Chiang Mai Expats Club meeting the last Saturday of each month. You would be able to meet and speak with a large variety of expats at either of those gatherings.

Thanks heaps for this. We only have a few days in Chiang Mai, starting on the evening of 1 Nov till the morning of 5 Nov so unfortunately could not make either of those get-togethers. Even so, I'd love to catch up for a casual drink with some ex-pats while we are in town so we can get a feel for how people live and enjoy life in Chiang Mai.
My husband is a member of the Hash House Harriers and we are going on to the Interhash in Yangon. Going to be a fun trip, for sure.
