Starting a Doggy Day Care business, NYC

Hi all,

After a little bit of advice...

Me and my partner are looking to relocate from England to the US to set up our own business, on an E2 visa. We are both in our late twenties and been wanting to move stateside for years.

Our business would be based on dogs - dog walking/pet sitting/doggy day care. We are both currently doing qualifications here to help this (puppy care, dog first aid, behavioural training) as well as getting experience walking dogs here. We would have website/social media pages set up also to generate as much interest. Also possibly looking at business loans if needed to tie us over while we get started.

I guess my question is  - is this the type of business which we could get an E2 visa for? We are both aware it's going to be extremely hard work but the best things in life often are.

Any advise would be great!
