Hi,

While living abroad, some expats wish to get involved in the local community life.

What organizations expats can turn to if they want to volunteer in Bahrain?

How to join a charitable institution, what are the steps?

Which causes have the greatest need for volunteers in Bahrain?

Hi,
There are many things one can do voluntary, personaly I would suggest "Feed the need" , "BSPCA" and "Beach combers".
Feed the need currently has 18 fridges installed around Bahrain, you are welcome to fill them with food and necessities for the people that are in need, they have a Facebook page with locations.
BSPCA has a Facebook page too, they mostly need money for food and health care for the animals in their shelter. They also have a thrift shop that relies heavily on volunteers.
Beach combers, also on facebook, are a group of people who pick up garbage from the beaches.
