Hello all
Recently I was hired my jaffery academy arusha as a school teacher of monthly pay $800 .
With free accomdation.
My question is it a true employer ?
And with this pay can I survive in arusha .
I am from middle class family
How much can I save ? As it is a costly place.
Can anyone please guide me.

I hope this message finds you well. The school is a good one, but I think the salary is a bit low unless they are offering you free accommodation and transport. I have been living in Tanzania as an expat for the past 20 years. Arusha is expensive. You have to insist that they provide you with accommodation and transport. You will be able to survive on this salary then depending on whether you are single or have a family. Hope this helps you make a decision.

yes, but the salary is very low. beware of office politics. jaffery academy is not good employer.
it has no equal oppportunity facility
