However, before doing that, I would advise you to choose a location for yourself first that seems to fit your needs.

Istanbul is a huge metropolitan city, thus even the suburbs tend to have the basic facilities that you mentioned in your requirement. What is really important is what you are looking for as a retired person, a residence in the main city center or a quieter life in the suburbs.

I wish you a nice stay in Istanbul in future.
