Hi,

I'm currently busy with an article and require some help from the expats living in SA. I'm interested in hearing what your experience have been like to date. In terms of renewing your work permit in your home country, how has this impacted on your family? Have you experienced any difficulties?
How is the expat community finding the new visa regulations? Do you find that they have impacted on your rental search in any way?

Would you say tourists are more affected than the family coming over on a contract basis?

It is not clear from your posting what Jhb means, and whether SA is Saudi Arabia or South Africa.
