In Yangon, it is safe. But if you are a girl, walking alone in evening is not a good idea. Some time, we can meet metamorphosis man. I have been 1 time, he follow me, and need to run a way from him.

You need to take the same precautions that you would in any big city and use common sense. Generally, Yangon is safe - watch out for bad drivers though!
