I'm travelling around the world by bicycle and I arrived in Shiraz airport this morning (I'm heading to Teheran). As I never plan anything I just realized that I cannot withdraw money in ATM in Iran so I'm stuck with only 150$. I know, I'm stupid but here I am...
After some researches on internet it seems there is no solution to withdraw cash in Iran. So I was thinking about contact an expat in Iran to transfer him money he could give me back in cash.
I would be very thanksful if anyone could help me on that matter

US/EU sanctions are probably the problem here.

The embassy can't help. However, an expat gave me the cash in Teheran after I transfered him the money in France.
Both were happy with this transaction because he needed to get money out of Iran.
