Hello,
We currently live in Cape Town, South Africa and visit Spain yearly and would like to move there permanently.
What all is required from us as South Africans ?
I have searched on the internet but not that much info.

It depends what type of resident visa you apply for. We have quite a bit of free info available on our site, mainly targeted at Americans and Canadians, but it is likely to apply to all non EU citizens. In a nutshell for a non working visa you need to show proof of finances, proof of health insurance, an apostille on legal docs (marriage, birth), the application and your reason for the desire to live in Spain. That is a simplified list, but the meat of it.
