Hallo guys,im a zim quack, married in mzansi. Physical sciences educator.

Hi All,
Megan here, I am just starting to look into actually moving to South Africa. Of course I will visit first, I just haven't been able to shake the feeling of being in South Africa for the last 20 years , it pops up every couple years or so , stronger urge each time so now it's getting overwhelming. With all that said, I am looking for the usual info, safety, costs and life in general.

Hi Megan,

It is good you are already thinking of moving to RSA. The last 2 months I have spent travelling in different countries across and beyond Africa but I loved RSA more than any other place. I got to visit Jo'burg, Heidelburg, Soweto, Glenvista, Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Cape Town. I fell in love with the last three.

I was adviced where to go and where not to and I felt generally safe. Cost of living was average though I lived from hotel to hotel.

It would be best for the  guys actually living there to advice you on the nitty gritty. From a visitor's point of view, GO FOR IT!

I am looking for food and beverage manager or deputy GM jobs anywhere in Africa. I have good experience in the rest of Africa as I have worked in five different african countries.

Hi guys!

My name is Katelyn, and I actually recently came back to Canada after having lived in Cape Town for a few months. I've been to South Africa twice in 2015 (it's just that perfect, I guess) and am looking to relocate more permanently in the coming months. I'm pretty excited to start meeting and networking with more South Africans and international expats to the area!  :)
