Sometimes ago I have been there for business trip ,those cold weather and raining all the time, I can't forget that moment... really love the place, besides the sea or river... Beautiful city

Yes I agree with you. I lived there for a year, my wife is from the city. I had business there last year, just there for the day and felt I missed the place. I feel it has much more character and atmosphere than Oslo. I feel Bergen Norwegian is much easier to understand , at least that s my British view. You don't have to sing song like you do here in Oslo. It is unlikely that I will return there though due to general difficulty of living in Norway for a foreigner. Planning my escape .
