Average cost of living in Kokopo

Hi iam planning to move to kokopo. Could you let me know the average cost of living there ?? I heard that the internet is expensive and not that steady. Also what is the cost of a TV and cable chargs

Hi mate, yes internet is very costly and cellular phone signal is not consistent.  Everything you need is imported so have at least 1,500 USD sustenance a month.

Compared to Port Moresby all other places living cost is lesser. The concept of unlimited intenet is not applicable to individuals as 1 MBps unlimited connection is costing around 2000 Kina in Port Moresby, should be the same there too i guess. Normally 1.5GB internet is 60-70 Kina here. In most of the places mobile internet is good.
If you are going to cook then it will cost you around lesser than 250 Kina.
