French cuisine

Hi,

When living abroad, tasting the local cuisine is part of discovering the country.

What is your favorite food in France?

What is the local speciality?

Share with us the local tastes of France and why not your best recipe.

Thank you in advance,

Priscilla

Hello Priscilla,

Personally, for me #1 is quiche with salmon and broccoli :)

I love confit de canard & magret de canard, speciality in the southwest of France. They're very easy to cook!

That depends on the region, here in france like any other countries, they are proud of their speciality .And in Lyon we have the privelege to live in the city of gastronomy..
I love to prepare gateau de foie, aligot  , ( if I have the occasion to have a tomme fraiche)  bœuf bourguignon,   And my friends prefer my way of cooking "cuisses de grenouilles😄

Flunch is also not so bad... :lol:
