Favorite food here is Cevapi sometimes referred to as cevapcici - it is ground beef formed into small sausages. The sausages are are placed a somun which is a flat bread with a fluffy inside. they are served with chopped onions and eaten with fresh kajmak a very fatty creamy cheese spread. extremely delicious.
extremely famous here are 'pita' pita are very very thinly spread dough with different fillings- cheese, spinach, potatoes, squash, minced/ ground meat... it is traditionally turkish but it has been adopted here and slightly changed to make it officially bosnian.
