Try looking in Valleggio Sul Mincio. It is up the hill from Borghetto. Borghetto, itself, is really just shops and restaurants. Valleggio is the place where people live. There is also Volta Mantovana not too far away.

Thanks that was a big help. Im still having trouble with 3 month or longer rentals. Everything is for daily vacationers. Is there a newspaper for these sort of things

Real Estate brokers it Italy often handle rentals in addition to sales. The majority of rentals are privately owned as investments.
Try looking at www . Technocasa . It.
Depending on th time of year you may find a lot more availability on Lake Garda, rather than Borghetto. The distance is not far and Lake Garda has (IMHO) more to offer.
What time of year do you plan to visit? (If it's Okay to ask?)
