Driving from England to Malta mid August what's the best route to take

If any one has any ideas I be grateful thank you.

Look at viamichelin - it will give you the cheapest route, shortest route etc

Thank you so much that's just what I was looking for.

You can save a bit of journey time by catching the ferry from Naples to palermo, Its a 12hr overnight ferry and an easy drive then to Pozzelo for the Malta ferry.

ive done it twice....depends on how much of a rush you are...second time went through Litchenstein over the Alps via the Silvio Pass down into italy then down the Adriatic coast ( much better and less HGV/Coaches than going down the middle of italy ) awsome trip...we took ten days as a father and son bonding trip would highly reccommend that one...the other one was the usual boring one everybody does.except we went to Genoa got the ferry from there to sicilly changed ships ( just across the harbour) then into Valletta arriving at 3 in the morning...great sea journey though very comfortable good food saved about 1000 k i should imagine ...even if you wanted to do it fast i would still say go down the east coast of italy....faster roads not many police not many tolls....what ever you decide drive safe have fun
