Hello everyone, my name is Cassie. I'm from the U.S. and I have started all my research on moving to Scotland.

I am recently divorced and have decided to finally chase my dreams of living and working in Scotland.

I would love to work as goldsmith again. My dream career in my dream place.

I am hoping to find new friends and maybe a little help and advise.

my name is Moira I was born in Glasgow Scotland but came to live in London when my huaband got offered a job with Ove Arup and parbut tners - structural engineers    We spent three years in Jamaica West Indies where he was the lead on some important buildings eg Montego Bay Airport and the Caymannas racecourse grandstand.    I had a place at Glasgow University but couldn't take it up when I moved to London so instead enrolled at University College London where my  degreewas in French and Italian.  I was a teacher firstly in a large London comprehensive (hard work) but later specialised in 6th form work at Davies college then Islington 6th form college (also hard work but of a different nature)  I am now retired and spend my time at our local u3a which was founded in France.  I am also a keen swimmer and swim two or three times a week in have had an a our local pool which is in Harrow Middle   I love France and hope to visit Annecy (via Lyon) in September

A year ago, I left all I've ever known, owned and loved in Minneapolis, MN in my home country America, with the exception of a cat, dog and a couple luggages, to be with the love of my life and his daughter in Glasgow.

I truly love living in Glasgow and hope to someday adventure to most of Scotland. I love to travel and am so grateful to have had the chance to, while living here.

Meeting people from different backgrounds is something I just cannot get enough of, and I'd love to connect with both locals and expats.

Came from the very low lands (The Netherlands) to the Highlands more than 6 years ago and this is my home.

Working in the offshore world wide it does not matter where your home is and I choose Scotland and specifically Edinburgh because I love this city to bits: culture, people, drive into the Highlands within an hour or two, amazing landscapes and ofcourse Munroes.

Could m " bring some information to settle down in the Scotland, the life she(it) is dear(expensive)? To rent(praise) a rent in the year are needed payslips? Documents asked? Is the life dear(expensive)? I am in France at the moment and I inquire to come to install(settle) me in the Scotland, he(it) is easy to be independent in my job...
