Botanical gardens only. Any time of the year! Great place almost in the middle of endless cars and boring grey buildings.
Otherwise.. not much festivals (Yoga festival once a year!), no street music, no street food, and no cafes/restaurants are affordable to be visited every weekend. Minsk is quite a boring place, everything you'd need to see can be done in 1-2 weekends. I do not consider casinos, bars and shady places in parks as anything worthwhile a visit.

Hi, we are making a website in English about everything you can do and see in Minsk.
Visit discoverminsk.by in a few months, it will be ready by then. There are a lot more things to do in Minsk than one may think.

Hi everyone! I walked the whole weekend in the city of Minsk and found out that you can rent a bike (biking roads are everywhere!!!), a boat, roller skate, play basketball and volleyball, meet people and make friends. And also recommend to study Russian in Minsk (golearnrussian.com), there are many students now from different countries!
I would like to share pictures, not sure that it's going to work, but pictures are worth seeing!
