I once saw an ad for a surf camp in Indonesia for Australians. What is the best way to looks for a job like that or any sort of work in Bali ?

Forget about making any money relating to surfing in Bali. The "Kuta Cowboys" have that totally wrapped up and there isn't a chance for a foreigner in that field.

Be degree educated
Have special skills that locals don't have
find a company willing to stand the large cost and messing around to hire a foreign worker.
Surfing instructor isn't anything past a dream.
