Things to do in Toronto during the weekends

There are just so many things to do in Toronto that it's difficult to list them all. I'll start with some of the more popular...

1. Take the elevator ride to the top of the CN Tower for a spectacular view of the entire city. On a clear day you can even see as far as Hamilton and across the lake Niagara on the Lake in the distance. Dining at the revolving restaurant in the Tower is a treat you'll always remember.

2.  Take the ferry (and a picnic lunch) over to Toronto Island and spend a relaxing day there.

3.  Take in a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game at the Skydome, or a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey match or Toronto Raptors basketball game at Air Canada Centre.

3. Visit Casa Loma at 1 Austin Terrace. A Gothic Revival mansion in mid-town Toronto, with its 98 rooms, decorated suites, secret passages and stately towers.

4.  Spend the day at the Toronto Zoo, 2000 Meadowvale Road. Canada's premier zoo known for its interactive education and conservation activities.

5.    Visit Ontario Place. Cultural, leisure and entertainment parkland extending throughout three man-made islands along the Lake Ontario waterfront.

6.  Wander through the Toronto Botanical Gardens at 777 Lawrence Avenue East (at Leslie Street). Toronto Botanical Gardens has 17 different themed gardens across four acres of land.

7. Visit Queen's Park is in downtown Toronto, just north of University Avenue and College Street. The street address is 111 Wellesley Street West. It is not only the seat of the Ontario Provincial Government, but also a very beautiful urban park.

8. Visit the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), Canada\'s largest museum of world cultures and natural history, the ROM has more than six million objects in its collections and galleries. The ROM is located at 100 Queens Park.

9. High Park in Toronto, Ontario. Waterfront, picnic areas, off leash dog park, sports, parking. High Park is located at 1873 Bloor St W.

10. And for the shopaholics, Eaton Centre Toronto with 175 famous stores, restaurants and entertainment is located at 220 Yonge St,
