When your project will be more consistant regarding your knowledge of the areas, thai laws, type of business, amount you want to invest, ..and your background, your visa, what you do in Thailand, etc...people may be able to help you

With a better description of your project ( what you have in mind ) and your CV, you will get more precise advises in this field.

Want to start in both places because Burma is my home town and now from Koh Samui I left some stock of previous business.This is the reason.How is retail business in Chiang Mai nowaday?
