As an animal lover and having volunteered over the years at animal shelters, I'm wondering if those exist in Cuenca and if so, are there volunteer opportunities? Many thanks.

Do you know if there are pet restriction policies for rentals or does it depend on individual landlords or whether it's an apartment or a house one is renting? If there is a shelter in Cuenca, then I'm sure there must be volunteer opportunities. Thanks much.
