Looking for Game Factories

I am heading to Guangzhou in May, 2015 for a few weeks.

Does anyone have any leads on which area of town I should look for companies to make some game components.
I need an inexpensive producer of Cards for one game.
For another game I may need a few sources (the game consists of toy guns, coins, dice, and cups).

Are there any areas of town or organizations or websites where I should look to get leads on how to go about acquiring the manufacturers I am looking for?

Once I get some factories which may be able to make the games, I hope to run KickStarter campaigns to produce them.

You can first look for suppliers in alibaba.com, get in touch with the ones you think have potential and then meet them in person when you go to Guangzhou.

Hello,

As said, you can find supplier through alibaba then contact them, if you wish any help when you come here or before you can ask me,

Hope this is not too late.

I have always been a big fan of board games.
Most of the big companies like Hasbro produce just about everything here now.
The best place for you to visit is the International Toys Market 国际玩具批发中心
Address: No.390 Yide Xi Road Yuexiu District Guangzhou广州市越秀区一德西路390号
Contact: 020-81060319
Hours: 09:00-18:00

Up on the third or fourth floor is a board game wholesale specialist, over on the left hand side away from the escalators.  No retail here but they have lots of experience with board games for export wholesale.
There are a great many more manufacturers for cards and card games but you might want to visit the town of Wuyi in Zhejiang which is now world famous for card makers of the kind that you are looking for.

Excellent, thanks for the advice.

I returned from Guangzhou after visiting a few factories and arranging for suppliers via Alibaba.

The online customer service in China is excellent.  4 suppliers found me on Skype after I contacted them on Alibaba, without me giving them my Skype info.  I thought that was interesting.

If the KickStarter for the game succeeds I'll head back to China to coordinate production, so your advice is not too late.  Thanks wenshidi.

Using a 3d printer would be a good way to knock up a few samples.
I know a few good Solidworks guys if you need some help.
Please let me know when the Kickstarter kicks off.
