Has anyone taken the train from Vientiane to Nong Khai and then changed there to Bangkok ?
Any hiccups, how was customs and immigration, was it time consuming and is it worth it ?

You mean Thanaleng. I haven't but friends have. The question is why would you though? It is easier to get it from Nong Khai.
