Hi nagamohan,

In Sohar you might be able to manage with the salary offered.

But not here in Muscat, as the accommodation cost is much higher here than it is in Sohar.

If you children are school going then it would be even more difficult.

The salary is not a very good one to maintain a full family. You can manage though.

it would depend a lot on you. Sohar is reasonably Low on Accommodation costs. it depends more on u. if u prefer 1/2 BHK in falaj Near NTI(ur work place) will be 130-150. a furnished may come at 200. if u prefer villas only will come no less than 250. in sohar ur food expense for family may come upto 100-150. i know of many many ppl who manage to save with 400-450.
