Looking for a place in Perth

So what's bringing you to Perth?

There are some nice suburbs like Northbridge,Mount Lawley, Maylands, East Perth, West Perth, Subiaco etc which is near the city centre and well connected with the train lines and buses.However, the rentals can be quite high in or near the city!

Else even south of the river is great to live!

It all depends on your purpose of visit and what are you exactly looking for?

Thank you Mishna for the quick reply.
I am planning to go to Perth and try to get a job in the accounting and finance sector.
I have no idea about Perth and neither do I know anyone there.
I know it sounds a bit odd but I would love to try my luck in Perth even if I go there as a complete stranger.
I simply need to find a room to rent and take it from there, but then it is not that simple, is it.
I am hoping that someone would be kind enough to help me out or give me some advice.

You can go on gumtree and find shared housing, there is plenty.
Morley is a nice suburb with its own shopping complex. There are others too.
