Salary for orthopedic doctor in bahrain

Hi
being an orthopedician u have to get minimum 2500 in standard hospitals but workload in a clinic may be less thats what they offered this much..once u obtain a licence here they may increase the amount or u can negotiate ..

Hi Dr Parag, the salary is low for an orthopaedic surgeon. Apart from accomodation, airfare and paid annual vacation your salary should be 2000 plus with or without incentives. Am a doctor (pathologist) working here in Bahrain. Feel free to contact me for any further details

i have 2 friends who are Russian Doctors one of them specialising in OBGYN & the other one as a family doctor or say (General Physician) & have over 3-5 years of work experience & would like to try out for jobs here in Bahrain. So how do they go about it in applying & what is the pay scale? do they also provide benefits like accommodation & transport?.

My father is an Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon (Pediatrician), he's 63 year old and searching for job in Bahrain hospitals, i want to help him to find this job, so can you help me and tell me if you know about any hospitals can my father work in, please .

my father has got FRCS certificate and other certificates by the way.

Generally medical jobs are through recruitment agencies.. No scope for me to suggest to anyone your fathers candidature.. Also age on entry beyond 62 for expatriates--hospitals usually do not accept. April 14,15,16 you can get F1 visa, come here and distribute CV in person.(my suggestion)

My father situation can't let him to come to Bahrain, and it's not sure to get a job if he distribute his CV in person .
So what is the solution except coming in person to Bahrain ?, It's very important for him to get the job .

Hello Dr Abishek. Just to give you an idea, the starting salary of an ortho surgeon is atleast 2000bd and if youre coming from india, your employer will provide you an apartment once you arrive. But i have heard some who are getting less than 2k, around 1500-1700bd, most of them are first timers abroad and are assigned in clinics/medical centers.

Ok. Is it a decent salary in Bahrain considering the rates of bahrain? And wil it be okay for a family of 3?

Arabs found that Indian politicians are cheating Indians by giving poor salaries. Hence for South East people they are offering dog shit salaries yet higher than the wasted Indian country. Whereas the empty headed whites get 5 times the salary. This is the ugly fact.
