Visa for Jordanian passport holder

You don't need no invitations from any local any more ! You can apply for your visit e.visa online - without the need for a sponsor. It is called as 'unsponsored visa').

This is a very recent development - not more than a week or so old. Ads were published in the local dailies.

www.rop.gov.om is the site to go to apply for your e.visa.

Hi Hi mba14000,

The ad which was release in the local dailies by the ROP's Electronic Visa Application System (e.visa Oman) does not specify any exclusions.

Under the header 'Steps to obtain a Visa' it just says the following 3 points :

Submit your application
Make your payment
Receive Notification

If I knew how to upload an image here, I would have shared the digital copy of the ad for you to see for yourself.

You will not be eligible for an e-visa with a Jordanian passport, however, if you were married to a Group 1 Country national or if your dad was a Group - 1 national, then you could be eligible for an on-arrival tourist visa the 10 days one or the 30 days one.
