how does the healthcare system work in the Maldives ? Is it efficient ?
What are the main differences between public and private sectors?
Is it recommended to purchase private health insurance in the Maldives ?

Hello Julien,
That is an interesting question you're asking. I've heard that some companies / hotels do not provide medical insurance to their expat staff. May be we can hear some feedback from other members who already live as expats in the Maldives.
