When I renew last time my visa, I have the financial requirement for my visa in a saving account ( blue passbook ).
I would like to know it it is possible to renew the visa with money in a Fixed Deposit Account ( orange passbook ) instead of saving account.
In a Fixed Deposit Account, the money are held for 4 / 7 / 11 months but can be withdrawn before maturity but part of interest will be lostof a saving account ( blue passbook )

I have resided here for 12+ years - CNX - now Fang.
I have had a retirement visa for a similar period.
Simply, I bank with BKK Bank & have had no problems using the fixed deposit method.
