Opening Bank Account in Bahrain from Saudi Arabia ?

I am not sure if you can open a bank account in Bahrain but if you are a GCC citizen, the rules might be different. As an expat who is not a GCC citizen, in order to open a bank account in Bahrain, you need to have a CPR as far as I know.

You can go to Bahrain Bank in Riyadh, King Fahad Road, i thing they may help a lot

Just came back from National Bank of Bahrain

That branch is only for corporate and they don't deal with verification to open Bahrain account

I think you can open a "Savings" account as a GCC expat.  You get an ATM card and online banking access but no cheque book.  Try bbkonline.

HSBC , BBK , SBI , BISB , Standard Chartered
Almost many banks do open an account if you're a GCC Expat too !
