here we need to discuss all matters of only faculty members joining Oman
(job offer, security clearance or labour clearance, Visa) and how long time it take for all process.

After a wide googling research ... I found this

the country of Sultanate of Oman is generally good country to work and live, it has friendly government and nation.

but

if you want to apply for job in oman it will be long journey of process and waiting stress and at the end may will not get it...
if you have currently job do not resign and if you have chance to apply for job somewhere else go for it.
