Then why only a german sheperd? You would not be ready to take other dogs?

There are a few animal shelters on the Island, full of loving dogs all needing a chain free home.

The Mauritian breed of dogs make excellent pets, feed them well, don't chain them up, give a good kennel for them to shelter in from the rain and the sun if you ever leave them outside, stroke and walk them and they will reward you with loyalty and will be good guard dogs by barking when anyone comes near to your home.

If you have enough room, take 2 dogs, so that they will be company for each other for when you are at work.
