I have been trying to contact the Canadian Embassy in order to be included in the mailing list for their social events. Does anyone know if there is such a list? or is it exclusive 
(You have to know someone who knows someone who knows something that can get you on that list?)
OR if someone can let us know if there is anything happening there anytime soon... Thanks

Canadian embassy are not open as USA embassy. therefore its very hard to get an information about upcoming event or parties,

If it is like the US one in Jeddah everything is who you know. Since my neighbors know someone in the consulate they are often invited (though not US citizens) where as I know no one there so I have no invites. Have actually been to more at the British consulate (actually have never set foot in the US consulate in 18 months/0
