Family iquama

I'm British currently living in Bahrain but have to go through the Saudi visa process to get my iquama,  my husband already has his iquama. Do I have to travel back to the UK to get a medical or is there a way to get the medical in Bahrain?

dear 1bex,

i guess you could do it in Saudi itself, just found a link : http://life-in-saudiarabia.blogspot.com … OXnXPnLc90

I am sure if someone has done the process they would reply back.

T&R

The medical is required for my entry visa into Saudi Arabia.  Normal we would get this in the UK before flying to Saudi but as I'm already in Bahrain was hoping there was a way of doing it here so I didn't have to fly back to complete.

but do you not have to go back to the UK anyway to get the entry visa? I thought you did. If so, I'd highly recommend you pay Harley Medical to do both the medical and visa application. It's pricey but very efficient.

Also, just so you know, when you first enter Saudi on the entry visa, you'll need to travel in through an airport. They are very likely to turn you away if you try to enter for residence on the Causeway.

However, because you live in Bahrain, you could try it anyway and if it works, hey ho. If not, simply go home and book a flight to Dammam. Take a book for the immigration queues!

This is what I'm not sure of , if I can do it from Bahrain and fly into saudi or if I have to fly back to the UK to do it all there . Just looking for any options that mean I don't have to fly back to UK ? Thanks

I'm 90% certain that Saudi will only issue entry visas at embassies in the applicant's passport country. I might be wrong.

Give the embassy there a call on 17537722 but be prepared for incompetence on the other end of the line.

Alternatively, you could contact harleymedvisa.co.uk/ as they will more than likely know the exact answer to this question because they specialise in getting Brits into Saudi.

i am British too and got residency visa . been in bahrain 4 months but i didn't go to Saudi or UK, company got me visa.

You have to go back to the UK and fly into Dammam
