Working in Chakan, where to live?

Hi every one,

My company ask me to move to our new plant in India. we have office in Mumbai, and the factory in Chakan.
I ll have to split my time between the both location.

from what i checked on internet Chakan seems a "nothing to do" place...
Pune seems a much better place to live.

So i would like to have your advices.
Is Chakan the kingdom of borness?
Is there some people living in Pune and going every days to Chakan ? How long it take?
Or should i try to live in Mumbay and jump there as much as i can.

About my personal information (quite important to understand my struggle) i m 32, moving alone and ll be the only expat in this factory.

Hi,

i am glad to tell you this that pune is very good place for live in India. chakan located to the north pune. the distance between pune & chakan is about to 1& half hr's. it is a industrial area & not for live lots of foreign or NRI people's who working in chakan use to stay in koregaon park, kalyani nagar, or magarpatta city.
