Can my kids go to school on atourist 600 visa?

Hi, we are wanting to move to Australia for 12 months and I'm looking to see which visa I need and if my kids can go to school there based on a tourist visa? Any help would be great. Thanks

For visa information and applications www.immi.gov.au tourist visas can be extended for a maximum stray of 12 months or less. You cannot work on a tourist visa. You can try for a working holiday visa which allows you to work but there is an age restriction on these visas.

As far as I know children would not be able to enter schools on either visa. I suggest that you contact the nearest Australian Embassy or Consulate for up to date information.
