hello taunyafaye,the biggest challenge with gales point is the road in the wet season. normally
mid may onwards, last year drier than the dry season!!
GP is about 20 miles from the southern end of the coastal road, which was well graded recently.
definitely 4X4 country. well known for possibly the best cashew wine in belize, and famous for tarpon off the point..
probally regarded as serious pioneer country. I am building 30 miles south of GP, but have good connections that might be useful to you. a shop owner on the left as you enter the village, a former village chair person, knows every thing
you need to know about the area. good luck.

Thanks for the information! We will be arriving in late May/early June depending on how long we have to hang out in Belize City waiting for our things to clear customs.
