Hi, me and my business partner would like to open a business in the USA - providing Life/health insurance. We currently offer this service in UK and have been very successful here.
I would like to know what procedures would i need to take to open a business, does a USA residence need to be a shareholder etc. I know nothing on this.
Would appreciate some help on this.

You have to do some of the work yourself you know, the good people here are able to assist you with their own experience, but, unfortunately they are not, as yet, on your payroll.
I have looked into setting up a business in America just by searching, "how can an immigrant open a business in America".
