Reading the latest statement regarding the takeover of the bus company by autobuses de Leon , it would appear that bus prices are set to rise but only if you purchase on the bus , all residence are going to be issued with an oyster style card from March onwards and also from June/July tickets valid in Malta will also be valid in Gozo too and vice versa .
More second hand buses arrived today so that they can cover the routes formally covered by the coach companies.
But the new buses won't arrive till may time ready for the new routes in the summer
Watch this space lol ( I wonder how much of this will actually happen)
