i am a filipina. I have a bf here in malaysia for 2 years. .we're planning to get married already but I need to go back philippines yet to get a new passport. So now I wanna ask what is the best thing to do so I can come back here in malaysia smoothly to process the registration of marriage? I need your ideas opinions and suggestions pls..tq everyone! Gbu

Why dont you renew your passport at the Philippines Embassy in Kuala Lumpur? You cant register your marriage for 6 months after it takes place and during that time you have to remain in Malaysia. If you are working legally it will be OK to continue. If you give up your job, you then have to wait the 6 months before you can legally work again. Its just some new rules that came into force in 2014.

But the problem is my passport has many chopped already (i dunno it's fake one) coz instead of exiting malaysia I prefer pass to an agent to chop it every month. (more than 1year)I dun have any legal permit.
is there any way? Pls help what to do.
