For my case , in the hague

> accommodation prices : 760€

> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.) : 48€ bus &tram suscription

> food prices (your monthly budget): 600€

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance) :115€

> education prices (if you need to pay): no

> energy prices (oil, electricity) : included in rent

> common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone)  : 40€

> price for a good menu in a traditional restaurant : 12€

> price for a coffee or a drink : 2,5€

> price for cinema tickets : 10€,, u CAN also hâve subscription for 26€/month

Hi I live in Hilversum and the cost of living so far for us has been;

> accommodation prices €1700

> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.) Drive a car I spend about €100 every 10 days.

> food prices (your monthly budget) €1000 family 4

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance) € 215

> education prices (if you need to pay) €350 nursery school 2 mornings a week

Hi I live in Hooglanderveen (Amersfoort) and the cost of living so far for us has been;

> accommodation prices €1250 - 3 bed freestanding house and includes 90MB glasvezel internet

> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.) I use NS Rail's off peak so 1 way to Schiphol is around €7, otherwise bicycle is preferred choice - so much easier. We have a car but I use 1 tank per 3 weeks.

> food prices (your monthly budget) €600 family 3  mostly organic

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance) € 340 - top plan for 3 of us.

> education prices (if you need to pay) €22 for 3 days a week 3hrs each (because of the fact both of us are not dutch)

> energy prices (oil, electricity) € 200

> common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone) € 45 cellphone unlimited everything  (in hindsight, this is not a required thing, get less talk-time and more data)

> price for a good menu in a traditional restaurant In our town you can get a 3 course meal for €25 each

> price for a coffee or a drink €3.50 (Grote cappachino)

3. Dependent on whether on diet or not !!! 750 - 1000.00 pm
4. Medical around 150.00 pm
5. Education not applicable
6. Energy --gas and elec and water  around 250.00 pm
7. Insurance for house/ furniture /third party etc  50.00 pm
8. Inet/ phone /tele  100.00 pm
9 Food in decent restaurant -- 70 --80.00 for 2 people
10. Starbucks 2.50 coffee ETC 3.00
11. Cinema -- no idea
12. Football ie Ajax -- 55.00
13. a sports club membership 50.00 pm
14. Concert tickets ie Ziggo Dome -- 75.00
15. Local Gesmente 30.00 pm Rubbish collection
16. Car parking if on a meter 8.00 per day for 5 days.

Just some of the expenses - surprised me whan I add it all up !!!!!!!

Housing: Euros 350 per month.
Bus/tram subscription: 80 per month.
Food: 50 to 70 per month depending on my consumption or interests.
cell phone: 30 to 40 per month.
health insurance, anderzog: 66 per month.

i don't drink starbucks nor eat out nor go to clubs. Saving is my middle name or at least I am trying to do so :)

No one can survive with 1.60 - 2.33€ per day or monthly 59-70 for food! Or you eat unhealthy only bread to be able to save. If so, it might turn out to spend savings for medicine. :(

Yes being alone I guess I just get bored to cook so a decent bfast in the morning and some snack or nuts n yogurt n such or soups during the day...i usually dont have dinners..I need to eat better as per family advice though..

How much does it cost to live in the Netherlands?

> accommodation prices   We pay 775 euro each month for a house we bought. When we rented we payed about the same.

Then you have 60 tv channels, good internet speed and free calls to all mobiles in the Netherlands. For our mobile we pay 30 euro for 150 calling minuts and 500 mb download internet.

15 - 20 euro per person. Normal pizza 5 euro, with more then cheese 7,50.

RIJEN, BRABANT

> accommodation prices - 960 euros for 4 bedroom house in village 8 km form Breda and Tilburg

200 euros per month 2 OV transport card with 40% discount outside rush hour and free train travel for 7 year old
This is 40 euros per year

> food prices (your monthly budget) 560 euros includes everything toiletries. Food, drink etc.

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance)
280 euros - basic insurance with own hospital choice, extra dental cover up to 600 euros and extra health packages, have a discounted price via employer

> education prices (if you need to pay)
No cost for 7 year old daughter she attends local Dutch school only pay about 36 euros a year for playground supervisors and extra activities

2 year old goes to local childminder via Gastouderbureau De Vlinder, pay 5,75 per hour. We pay 575 euros a month ( price is calculated after every month depniding on hours child goes, if she doesn't go one day we don't pay, ie in Summer hols no costs)
We get 300 back a month from tax office as Kinderopvang toeslag (means tested)

> energy prices (oil, electricity) 130 euros for Gas and Electricity with Essent

Nappies - Best deal and good - ETOS brand 7 euros for 36 nappies.

Ballet lessons 36 euros a month 1 hour lesson per week
Swimming lessons 28 euros a month 1 hour lesson a week
Yoga lessons - 60 euros per 3 months 1 hour a week

House insurance includes contents fire theft and personal liability - 46 euros

Water sewage etc 280 euros per year ( paid in 6 instalments)

Local tax costs (bins etc) - 325 euros a year ( depends on price house etc) (paid I six instalments)

Magazine subscription 17 euros per year, 6 magazines

Boiler rental - 31.00 euros a month ( When our boiler died we rented one instead of buying, means free checkup every 3 months and a new one every 2 years)

Bike insurance - 70 euros per year 2 bikes 100% covered
