The country as a whole is still trying to recover from the bankng meltdown. most of the banks here only just passed the stress tests - one bank failed it.... Hellenic.
many things are expensive but in our experiences so far it over the last 6 months since relocating here from Malta it has has proved to be cheaper overall...... than Malta and UK. swings and roundabouts in many cases....
