As a gay man I've heard that Manchester is better for the gay community. But still not sure. I plan on visiting this summer.

My partner and I moved to Cornwall from Minnesota almost nine years ago now, and we love it as well. And after Minnesota, winter here feels like spring--even if it did try to snow last night. I predict, everyone I see today will tell me how cold it is. I can go as far as chilly, but after Minnesota I just can't say it's cold.

Hi
I'm a retired person interested in writing articles, books, blogs. I have lived in England since 1964 but worked in Papua New Guinea on and off for more than twenty years.

Hi. Can't offer any leads on articles or books, but I've been blogging about living in Cornwall for the better part of a year now, and the great thing about it is that you don't need a contract, don't have to impress an editor, and don't even have to spend money on setting up a blog. The down side is that (unless you have a massive following and want to go commercial) it doesn't pay--and you have to publicize it pretty hard to get it known. Happy to share info if you're interested. My blog's at notesfromtheuk.com.

Hi, our family will be Moving to England in around twelve months. My husband is English but I'm stressing already about going through the spouse visa process.

Would live to meet others having to go through the visa process or other families heading to England.

Hi, I'm Chris from Manchester. I'm about to buy an apartment in sunny beach Bulgaria without travelling there. I've found a solicitor who appears legitimate but I don't really want to send the money to them without checking their credentials first. I've tried to on the internet but no luck. Any advice from expats in Bulgaria or anyone would be gratefully received. The company is called... Dynamic Solutions GB Lawyers based in Bulgaria. Many thanks.
