my company is offering 1000$ per month. Is it enough for a family of two to live a comfortable life in chisinau?

1000$ it'snot too much for a comfort life as an expat in Chisinau. It depends on your expectancies. IT'S NOT too much, but you can live quite good on this money if your company will rent you an apartment. Rent is quite high here. It starts with 250-300€ for 1 bedroom apartment not in the city center, in quite good conditions.

HEALTH CARE
In Chisinau there are some good medical centers. One of the best is International Hospital MEDPARK wich has contracts with some global ensurance companies as Cigna ( for example). They offer medical care at a very good level and high standarts. Ex: to consult a doctor at Medpark is 25 €. The price for a medical check up for an adult is aprox 190 €.
A private ginecological center Extramed and others...
There are also some good diagnosis centers like  German Diagnostic Center, Excellence, Imunotehnomed (Medexpert) and even the National Diagnosis Center ofers a high quality service, as they have good medical staff and new equipments.
A lot of people come from Western Europe for different medical care, because of a good quality and cheep price.
The stomatological Ceneters are cheeper than everywhere in Europe and also can offer service of best quality.

thanks a lot for this information.. .

Where have you seen such a expensive coffe in Chisinau? :D
The price for a good cup of coffee or capuccino usually starts from 1€ to 3€ ( in expensive restaurants).

You think €1000 a month for all living expenses is expensive? I'm paying that much just for a single room in the absolute worst neighborhood imaginable in San Francisco. Sheesh!
