Confused ...
Guy at work came to take my passport to submit my paperwork and I said how long until I get my work visa as work had said 6months he said 1-2 weeks obviously with Inshallah added
Then he said Ministry of Education approval can take 6 months.... So what's that?
Im confused

Hi there.

Time taken to get visas and CPR sorted out varies between a few days and many months, depending on employer and the document processing guy. I have faced waiting periods ranging from 2 days to 3.5 months!

I am not sure why the Ministry of Education would take 6 months to approve you. It seems quite a long time, and perhaps is because your employer has other pending paper work to complete with that Ministry.
