Hi all!
My girlfriend Natasha and I are making the journey from Michigan to Belize at the moment and will be driving through Mexico. I'm wondering if anyone has done this RECENTLY and can offer advice, i.e. places to avoid/dangerous areas.

I haven't done this myself, but recently found a great website on the subject - drivetheamericas.com

Look for the same name on Facebook too. I also have other information which I thought was so good that I kept it, so let me know if you would like me to post that.
