My Name is John from Namibia. I have a huge problem. My girlfriend has overstayed in Namibia for 10 months now. She is a South African citizen. she actually wants to stay with me in Namibia and we want to get married. but they say that she cant get an extension as her overstay is too long. Im scared that if she returns to the Namibian border (to exit) that they might not let her leave and arrest her. It seems that fines are not enough,, theres some prosecution expected. Btw, she's seven months pregnant and we already have 2 kids together. pls advice as I want my whole family with me.

Hey John I went in to court and chatted with prosecutor about my dilema as i have a 4 yr old kid. She advised to engage a a lawyer who will facilitate that stay.

Is your child a Namibian citizen?
Did that give you the right to stay? If so, on what basis?
I have a six year-old Namibian child and I wish to join him.
