I am in the process of adopting and will be in Karachi for several months.  I am looking for advice on where to stay while I am there.  The big international hotels are too expensive.  But, I am interested in a centrally located place which is secure.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jobs for foreigners are very difficult to find unless you have a specialist skill. I suggest that you do some serious online research for work in Thailand. Read other posts on this section of the forum too.

You should also check the jobs section of this forum which is located at the top of this page. You can also place your CV there.

For security reasons please do not post personal contact details on an open forum as this may expose you to spammers and scammers. As you are looking for work a scammer could contact you with a great offer, ask you to send money for visas and then you get nothing.

I suggest that you go to the Brazil section of this forum, post on there and you will get replies. Also check through the many posts there on the subject.

There are a number of good housing compounds that offer good housing amenities, and are provided with 24/7 security, amenities and other services like transportation, groceries etc. You may find these compounds in Clifton, Defence, Naval compounds and you may also seek advises from the Real Estate agencies and even read Dawn's Sunday classified... there are some families who offer room-sharing etc... wish u all d best
